Description

Jug formed of an ovoid body on a very low ring- shaped base, strap handle connecting the shoulder to the upper part of the neck, flaring, almost completely flat projecting rim. The decoration had been limited to a series of incised lines, along the surface of the neck and on the shoulder. It is a very simple yet remarkably elegant piece judging from its gentle shape and the supremely well executed dark green glazing. - (LO.501)
