This genuine ancient coin is mounted in an exquisite modern 18 karat gold necklace set with 88 genuine fully cut diamonds.

This magnificent tetradrachm evokes the splendor and richness of the Hellenistic age. A member of the Macedonian aristocracy, Lysimachus was among the inner circle that divided up the kingdom of Alexander the great after his death. To emphasize his lifelong friendship with Alexander, Lysimachus adorned his own coinage with a portrait of the deified king, wearing the horns of the Egyptian God Ammon. On the other side is the image of Athena, classical goddess of wisdom and war. This dazzling necklace, blending the glow of ancient silver with radiant gold and brilliant diamonds, is adornment fit for royalty. To wear it is make a little history of one's own.

This coin was found in Asia Minor. - (FJ.3217A)
