Description
Gaily painted with bold geometrics, this owl effigy represents a mysterious deity worshipped in an area stretching from Panama to Honduras. Little is known about this God other than his nocturnal proclivities, but on this piece he seems a friendly mixture of a bird and human, with large round eyes and a mouth spout which seems to be saying "hoo!" - (PF.0601)
