Description
Ewer with squat spherical body on medium-sized cylindrical foot; simple strap handle with a small knob finial connects the body to a cylindrical neck, terminating in a flared spout. Three medallions in a row devide four bands of Kufic inscriptions around the body. Above the central medellion, decorated by a 12-petaled rosette, band with inscription with wheel-shaped decorations on either side. Narrow shoulder decorated by a row of abstract motifs. - (PF.7007)
