Heavy and powerful, the simple lines of this feisty animal call to mind the great bullfights of Spain. This animal moves swiftly and with each move one can see the strength of the muscles. The rich blue of the lapis heightens the sense and adds a sense of eroticism. The bull, a symbol of masculine power, strength and virility, lowers his head as if he’s ready to push or ram something with all his strength. Of course, he’s preparing for an encounter with a bullfighter, but the swift powerful movement makes one think that he has the power to push the world with his strength. - (PF.2752)
