With arms raised above his head and his right leg drawn back, it could be that this lead figurine is representative of a gymnast or performer. He wears just a loincloth, tied at the waist, which was commonly worn during exercise, and is thus suggestive of his role. His head is proudly turned to the right, as if to accept applause for whatever physical feat has just occurred. For such a small figure, the detail in his face is remarkable. - (RP.204)
